CRYM Human
Source: Escherichia Coli.Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.Crystallin, Mu (CRYM) is a taxon-specific crystallin protein which binds NADPH and has sequence similarity to bacterial ornithine cyclodeaminases. CRYM doesnâ€TMt perform a structural role in lens tissue; instead CRYM binds thyroid hormone for possible regulatory or developmental roles. CRYM gene mutations are linked with autosomal dominant non-syndromic deafness. CRYM specifically catalyzes the reduction of imine bonds in brain substrates which may include cystathionine ketamine and lanthionine ketamine.CRYM Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain (Ser2-Lys314) containing 322 amino acids including a 9 aa His tag at N-terminus. The total calculated molecular mass is 34.8kDa.
