CLMP Human, SF9
Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile Filtered clear solution.CXADR Like Membrane Protein or CLMP, part of the CTX family within the immunoglobulin superfamily, is a type 1 transmembrane peptide. CLMP is expressed in the placenta and small intensine, skeletal muscle, colon, lungs and heart. CLMP is located in junction complexes across endothelial and epithelial cells and can take part in cell adhesion. The protein has influence on development of obesity via adipocyte differentiation.CLMP produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 226 amino acids (19-235a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 25.6kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 28-40kDa) .CLMP is expressed with a 9 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
