Source: E.coli.Sterile Filtered colorless solution.HPGD is the essential enzyme of prostaglandin degradation. 15-PGDH protein strongly decreases the biologic activity of these molecules by catalyzing the oxidation of the 15-hydroxyl group of prostaglandins to a keto group. GDH1 is involved in numerous physiologic and cellular processes, for instance inflammation.HPGD Mouse Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 292 amino acids (1-269) and having a molecular mass of 31.6kDa. HPGD is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Components

The HPGD solution (1mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0) and 10% glycerol.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) . Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
