CTSS Mouse
Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile filtered colorless solution.Cathepsin S (CTSS) belongs to the peptidase C1 family. CTSS is a lysosomal cysteine proteinase that participates in the degradation of antigenic proteins to peptides for presentation on MHC class II molecules. CTSS functions as an elastase over a broad pH range in alveolar macrophages.CTSS Mouse Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 328 amino acids (21-340 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 37.2kDa (Migrates at 28-40kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions) .CTSS is expressed with an 8 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
