EIF1AY Recombinant Protein
Source : Escherichia Coli. EIF1AY produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 167 amino acids (1-144.a.a) and having a molecular mass of 18.8kDa. EIF1AY is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. EIF1AY is comparable to eukaryotic translation initiation factor 1A (EIF1A) . EIF1AY protein is essential for highest rate of protein biosynthesis. EIF1AY increases ribosome dissociation into subunits and is obligatory for the binding of the 43S complex (a 40S subunit, eIF2/GTP/Met-tRNAi and eIF3) to the 5' end of capped RNA.
