EAF1 Recombinant Protein

Source : Escherichia Coli. EAF1 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is. a single polypeptide chain containing 110 amino acids (182-268) and having a molecular mass of 11.3kDa. EAF1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. ELL Associated Factor 1 (EAF1) is a part of the EAF family and is expressed mainly in heart, brain, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas, spleen, prostate, testis, small intestine and colon. EAF1 plays a role as a transcriptional transactivator of ELL and ELL2 elongation activities.

Components

The EAF1 solution (0.5mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl and 10% glycerol.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
