Polyclonal Antibody to Importin-9
Improtin-9 is a member of the Importin family of proteins that serves as a receptor for nuclear transport by identifying nuclear localization sequence (NLS) in proteins. It serves as receptor for nuclear localization signals (NLS) and is thought to mediate docking of the importin/substrate complex to the nuclear pore complex (NPC) through binding to nucleoporin and the complex is subsequently translocated through the pore. Importin-9 has ubiquitous expression. Importins have been predicted to bind with H2A, H3, H4 histones.
