Amorphispironone (Compound 1) is a rotenoid that can be isolated the leaves of A. fruticosa. Amorphispironone exhibits remarkable inhibitory effects on EBV-EA activation induced by TPA. Amorphispironone exhibits potent anti-tumor-promotion activity on mouse skin tumor promotion in vivo[1].
