Melanoxazal
Melanoxazal is a Melanin biosynthesis inhibitor. Melanoxazal can inhibit melanin formation in the silkworm larva hemolymph (IC50 is 30.1 μg/mL), and also has stronger inhibitory effect against mushroom tyrosinase (IC50 is 4.2 μg/mL), but it has no antimicrobial effect[1].
