Monensin C
Monensin C is an oxygen-containing heterocyclic polyether antibiotic. Monensin C has antibacterial, mycobacterial, fungal and protozoan activity, but it has a weaker effect on Gram-negative bacteria and has an inhibitory effect on HeLa cells[1].
