WYneN (compound 10) is a functionalized Wittig-alkyne probe. WYneN exhibits strong reactivity with sulfinic acid dipeptide models, similar to the parent Wittig reagent. WYneN can be used to reveal the function of oxidative modifications on a proteome-wide scale[1].
