Aldi-2 is a potent and specific covalent inhibitor of aldehyde dehydrogenases (ALDHs) with IC50s of 2.5, 6.4 and 1.9 μM against ALDH1A1, ALDH2 and ALDH3A1, respectively. Aldi-2 can be utilized in cancer research[1].
