Lonomycin C
Lonomycin C is a demethyl derivative of Lonomycin A or Lonomycin B. Lonomycin C can be concluded to be a new member of polyether antibiotic family. Lonomycin C is active against Gram-positive bacteria but inactive against Gram-negative bacteria and fungi. Lonomycin C is slightly less active than Lonomycin A in antimicrobial activities[1].
