Recombinant human TIGIT protein
TIGIT, also known as T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains, is a surface protein containing and immunoglobulin variable domain. This protein is expressed at low levels on peripheral memory and regulatory CD4+ T-cells and NK cells. Also, it binds with high affinity to the poliovirus receptor which causes increased secretion of IL10 and decreased secretion of IL12B and suppresses T-cell activation by promoting the generation of mature immunoregulatory dendritic cells. Recombinant human TIGIT, fused to hIgG-His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
