Recombinant mouse Decorin protein
DCN, also known as decorin, is a proteoglycan known to interact with collagen and growth factors, may play key roles during ontogenesis, tissue remodeling, and cancer. It regulates assembly of the extracellular collagen matrix and the bioactivity of the matrix associated growth factors FGF-2, GDF-8/Myostatin, TGF-Beta, and WISP-1. Recombinant mouse DCN, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
