Recombinant human Kallikrein 10/KLK10 protein
KLK10, also known as Kallikrein-10, is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members. Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. It is secreted and may play a role in suppression of tumorigenesis in breast and prostate cancers. Recombinant human KLK10 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.
