Recombinant human CABP7 protein
CABP7, also known as Calcium-binding protein 7, contains two EF-hand domains. It negatively regulates Golgi-to-plasma membrane trafficking by interacting with PI4KB and inhibiting its activity. The CaBP family of EF-hand containing small Ca (2+) -binding proteins has recently emerged as important regulators of multiple targets essential to normal neuronal function in the mammalian central nervous system. Recombinant human CABP7 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
