Recombinant human Profilin 4/PFN4 protein
Profilin-4, also known as PFN4, is a small actin-binding protein involved in the dynamic turnover and restructuring of the actin cytoskeleton. It is found in all eukaryotic organisms in most cells. Also, this is important for spatially and temporally controlled growth of actin microfilaments, which is an essential process in cellular locomotion and cell shape changes. Recombinant human Profilin-4, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
