Bovine CXCL1 (GRO alpha) Polyclonal Antibody - Biotinylated
The Bovine CXCL1 polyclonal antibody is labeled and has been qualified for use in ELISA applications. It is the detection antibody in the Kingfisher Biotech Bovine CXCL1 ELISA. The Bovine CXCL1 antibody was produced in rabbits and is antigen-affinity purified. This antibody has not been show to cross-react with cynomolgus monkey, ferret, guinea pig, human, mouse, and rabbit CXCL1 proteins. The antibody cross-reacted weakly with ovine CXCL1. For research use only.

Background
CXCL1 belongs to the CXC chemokine family and was previously called GROα, KC, neutrophil-activating protein 3 (NAP-3) and melanoma growth stimulating activity, alpha (MSGA-α) . CXCL1 is expressed by macrophages, neutrophils and epithelial cells, and has neutrophil chemoattractant activity. CXCL1 plays a role in spinal cord development by inhibiting the migration of oligodendrocyte precursors and is involved in the processes of angiogenesis, inflammation, wound healing, and tumorigenesis.
