M6PR Antibody

M6PR is a receptor for mannose-6-phosphate groups on lysosomal enzymes. The receptor forms a homodimer or homotetramer for intracellular targeting of lysosomal enzymes and export of newly synthesized lysosomal enzymes into the cell secretions. The receptor is an integral membrane protein which localizes to the trans-Golgi reticulum, endosomes, and the plasma membrane.The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for mannose-6-phosphate groups on lysosomal enzymes. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store M6PR antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

M6PR antibody can be used for detection of M6PR by ELISA at 1:312500. M6PR antibody can be used for detection of M6PR by western blot at 5.0 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
