RNF40 Antibody

RNF40 contains a RING finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. This protein was reported to interact with the tumor suppressor protein RB1. Studies of the rat counterpart suggested that this protein may function as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase, and facilitate the ubiquitination and degradation of syntaxin 1, which is an essential component of the neurotransmitter release machinery.The protein encoded by this gene contains a RING finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store RNF40 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

RNF40 antibody can be used for detection of RNF40 by ELISA at 1:312500. RNF40 antibody can be used for detection of RNF40 by western blot at 1.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
