KRT2A Antibody

KRT2A is a member of the keratin gene family. The type II cytokeratins consist of basic or neutral proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains coexpressed during differentiation of simple and stratified epithelial tissues. This type II cytokeratin is expressed largely in the upper spinous layer of epidermal keratinocytes and mutations in this gene have been associated with bullous congenital ichthyosiform erythroderma.The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the keratin gene family. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store KRT2A antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

KRT2A antibody can be used for detection of KRT2A by ELISA at 1:312500. KRT2A antibody can be used for detection of KRT2A by western blot at 0.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
