BFSP1 Antibody

More than 99% of the vertebrate ocular lens is comprised of terminally differentiated lens fiber cells. Two lens-specific intermediate filament-like proteins, CP49 (also known as phakinin) and BFSP1 (or CP115), are expressed only after fiber cell differentiation has begun. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store BFSP1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

BFSP1 antibody can be used for detection of BFSP1 by ELISA at 1:312500. BFSP1 antibody can be used for detection of BFSP1 by western blot at 0.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
