SOX2 Antibody

SOX2 is a member of the SRY-related HMG-box (SOX) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of cell fate. The protein may act as a transcriptional activator after forming a protein complex with other proteins. This gene lies within an intron of another gene called SOX2 overlapping transcript (SOX2OT) .

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SOX2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SOX2 antibody can be used for detection of SOX2 by ELISA at 1:1562500. SOX2 antibody can be used for detection of SOX2 by western blot at 2.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
