GABRG2 Antibody

Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain, mediates neuronal inhibition by binding to GABA receptors. The type A GABA receptors are pentameric chloride channels assembled from among many genetic variants of GABA (A) subunits. GABRG2 is the gamma 2 subunit of GABA (A) receptor. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store GABRG2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

GABRG2 antibody can be used for detection of GABRG2 by ELISA at 1:62500. GABRG2 antibody can be used for detection of GABRG2 by western blot at 1.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
