DMRT1 Antibody

The gene encodes the DMRT1 protein is found in a cluster with two other members of the gene family, having in common a zinc finger-like DNA-binding motif (DM domain) . The DM domain is an ancient, conserved component of the vertebrate sex-determining pathway that is also a key regulator of male development in flies and nematodes. This gene exhibits a gonad-specific and sexually dimorphic expression pattern. Defective testicular development and XY feminization occur when this gene is hemizygous. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store DMRT1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

DMRT1 antibody can be used for detection of DMRT1 by ELISA at 1:12500. DMRT1 antibody can be used for detection of DMRT1 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
