CDS1 Antibody

Breakdown products of phosphoinositides are ubiquitous second messengers that function downstream of many G protein-coupled receptors and tyrosine kinases regulating cell growth, calcium metabolism, and protein kinase C activity. CDS1 is an enzyme which regulates the amount of phosphatidylinositol available for signaling by catalyzing the conversion of phosphatidic acid to CDP-diacylglycerol. Two genes encoding this enzyme have been identified in humans, one mapping to human chromosome 4q21 and a second to 20p13.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store CDS1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

CDS1 antibody can be used for detection of CDS1 by ELISA at 1:312500. CDS1 antibody can be used for detection of CDS1 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
