Background

EXT2 is one of two glycosyltransferases involved in the chain elongation step of heparan sulfate biosynthesis.This gene encodes one of two glycosyltransferases involved in the chain elongation step of heparan sulfate biosynthesis. Mutations in this gene cause the type II form of multiple exostoses. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for this gene.

Applications Notes

EXT2 antibody can be used for detection of EXT2 by ELISA at 1:312500. EXT2 antibody can be used for detection of EXT2 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
