HERC5 Antibody

HERC5 is a member of the HERC family of ubiquitin ligases.It contains a HECT domain and five RCC1 repeats. Pro-inflammatory cytokines upregulates expression of HERC5 protein in endothelial cells. The protein localizes to the cytoplasm and perinuclear region and functions as an interferon-induced E3 protein ligase that mediates ISGylation of protein targets.This gene is a member of the HERC family of ubiquitin ligases and encodes a protein with a HECT domain and five RCC1 repeats. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store HERC5 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

HERC5 antibody can be used for detection of HERC5 by ELISA at 1:312500. HERC5 antibody can be used for detection of HERC5 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
