Protein A/G, Recombinant (FITC)

Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 °C. Stable for 12 months at -20 °C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.

Under optimal conditions, 1mg protein A/G will bind approximately 5mg human IgG. Optimal binding of Protein A/G to antibodies occurs at pH 5.0 to 8.0 and can be eluted over a pH range of 2.5 to 3.0.
