Store dessicated at -20 °C. Lyophilized powder is stable for 6 months after receipt at -20 °C. Free acid is less stable than the salt form; 5% decomposition may occur within 6 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
