Recognizes human alpha2-Microglobulin. Monospecific when analyzed by immunoelectrophoresis. Only one arc was seen with normal human plasma, of identical mobility to that obtained with purified alpha2-microglobulin. Species crossreactivty: rabbit, porcine, canine, and rat (weakly).
