Storage Conditions

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. 

Specificity

Recognizes both the soluble and membrane bound human IL-6 receptor. B-R6 will inhibit IL-6 mediated proliferation of XG-1 cells and partially blocks the binding of IL-6 to its receptor.
