Specificity

CIKS/Act1 (NT) [This rabbit antibody recognizes an epitope of aa 2-15 at the N-terminus of human CIKS/Act1 (Connection to IKK and SAPK/JNK), an activator of IKK.]<br>This antibody recognizes an epitope at the N-terminus of human CIKS/Act1 (Connection to IKK and SAPK/JNK), an activator of IKK. CIKS/Act1 interacts directly with IKK gamma and also activates activating transcription factor (ATF) and activator protein 1 (AP-1) through Jun kinase (JNK). CIKS/Act1 is associated with inflammation and stress responses and is expressed in a variety of human tissues.
