APOE3 Apolipoprotein E3 Human Recombinant Protein

APOE3 Human Recombinant (19-317) produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 306 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 35.2kDa. The APOE is fused to a Met and a 6 amino acid His tag [M-HHHHHH] at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Tissue Specificity

Occurs in all lipoprotein fractions in plasma. It constitutes 10-20% of very low density lipoproteins (VLDL) and 1-2% of high density lipoproteins (HDL) . APOE is produced in most organs. Significant quantities are produced in liver, brain, spleen, lung, adrenal, ovary, kidney and muscle.
