ABEI
ABEI (4-Acetamido-4'-isothiocyanatostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid) is a compound belonging to the class of fluorescent dyes. It is commonly used as a labeling reagent in biochemistry and molecular biology to detect and quantify proteins and other biomolecules. ABEI can be attached to the amino groups of proteins or peptides and will generate a strong fluorescent signal when excited by light of a specific wavelength. This allows the detection and quantification of proteins and other biomolecules in biological samples such as blood or tissue samples.
