Bioactivity
The activity is determined by a mouse splenocyte survival assay. The ED50 for this effect is 0.5-2.0ug/ml.

Physical appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.0.
Reconstitution
Reconstitution: //It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized BAFF in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Storage: //Lyophilized BAFF although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution BAFF should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.
